Whether this is your first time in therapy or searching for a new therapist, I am so glad you are here. The decision to embark on a therapeutic journey is not always easy, and finding the right therapist can be challenging.
Therapy is a special opportunity to develop clarity about ourselves in a safe space. When we develop intentional awareness about what is happening within ourselves, it becomes easier to navigate and make decisions about what is happening outside and around us. So, whether you want to change behaviors, regulate your emotions, or process what you’ve experienced, I’m here with you.
As a therapist, I will honor your autonomy and trust as we collaborate on ways to work toward your goals. I believe learning, and growth can occur in many forms, and I strive to create a safe environment that supports you as you talk about your mental health concerns, process what you are going through, develop intentional awareness, and find a way forward. To help you do this, I will bring in a mix of techniques and resources that work best for you.
My approach is holistic, integrative, and trauma-informed, pulling from Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Person-centered Therapy. I am passionate about working with children, teens, and young adults dealing with ADHD, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, life transitions, mental health concerns, and self-esteem. I am currently a graduate student at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
